1. Connect the water inlet and outlet hoses of the laser and the cutting head to the chiller respectively as shown in the diagram below
2. Fill the chiller with distilled water【1】
3. The water level simply needs to reach the normal range 【2】
4. Connect the dedicated voltage stabilizer for the laser cutting machine in series to the main power input terminal of the laser cutting machine,Start the voltage stabilizer
5. After connecting the hoses and power supply, first start the water chiller. Allow it to run until the temperature reaches approximately 26°C, then turn on the laser control switch.【1】
6. On the operator console, sequentially activate the Emergency Stop Switch 【1】, Key Knob 【2】, and Start Button 【3】;After pressing the start button【3】, the laser starts running. Observe the status of the indicator lights【4】
7. Before starting the air compressor, connect the air hose 【1】 and oxygen hose to the air inlet 【3】 and oxygen inlet 【5】 of the laser cutting machine, open the air compressor valve 【2】 and oxygen valve, and check whether the oxygen gauge 【4】 reading is normal.
8. Start the refrigerated dryer 【1】. When the temperature reaches about 0 degrees Celsius 【2】, release the emergency stop switch 【3】, start the air compressor 【4】, and wait for the air compressor to automatically load to about 13 bar 【5】.
9. Open the HypCut cutting software
10. After entering the interface, first check for any potential sheet metal collisions or foreign obstructions inside and on both sides of the laser cutting machine beam during Y‑axis movement. Then, with the Y‑axis limit indicator constantly lit, perform mechanical homing
11. Open “File”【1】 in the upper left corner and import the drawing file 【2】to be cut
12. Drag to select the graphic part to be cut. In the layer section at the upper right of the interface, select the cutting layer color (green)【2】,Open the Process Panel【3】
Note: The green layer【2】 in the drawing is the cutting process layer. The pink layer【1】 is used to ensure the cutting head’s red light remains above the sheet during edge framing.
13. Set the cutting parameters for layers of different colors 【1】, and check the cutting material 【2】, cutting thickness 【3】, and nozzle type 【4】.
14. Check in sequence: whether the nozzle model is correct 【1】, whether the ceramic body is damaged 【2】, and whether the lower protective lens is contaminated 【3】. Replace with new ones if damaged or contaminated
15. Correct the laser center. If the laser is unfocused during cutting and light leakage occurs above the sheet as shown in the figure below, laser center correction is required
15-1 In the box on the right side of the system operation interface, set the focus position to 0, set the pulse power to 15%, and open the shutter. Stick a piece of transparent tape below the nozzle, press the laser pulse button on the remote control, and check if the center is deviated. If deviated, use a hex key to make fine adjustments according to the correction method shown in the figure below.
16. Use the remote control to manually lower the cutting head to 5 mm【1】 above the sheet, then perform capacitance calibration【2】
17. Perform air pressure calibration【1】
18. Observe the cutting head red light 【1】, ensure the cutting graphic size 【2】 is within the sheet size, then perform edge framing 【3】 and adjust the sheet slightly to keep the red light always above the sheet
19. After cutting is completed, turn off the computer, console stop button 【1】, emergency stop switch 【2】, and key knob 【3】 in sequence. Then turn off the chiller, voltage stabilizer, air compressor, and refrigerated air dryer
